4-74 Net Statistics
Omitting Fields from the Table
You can omit any single field or multiple fields from the table. You can even omit
all the fields and leave only the name of the table.
You can omit all the fields from the table and the name of the table. However, if
the table is a type that is joined, you will get messages saying that that the specific
files cannot be found.
Generated Files: Structure
The files are created in the directory:
/opt/MNG/MNGVIEWHP/WAN/StatCollect.
The first two columns in the file are: Interval-No. and Interval-Start-Time.
The format for the Interval-Start-Time is hour:min, and the value reflects the
Network Management Station time at the start of the interval.
The values collected and stored are separated by a space.
The variables collected are standard
Generated Files: Names
The convention for the file names is as follows:
<selection name>_<product type>_Interface#x.y.z_<table family>-
layer_year-mm-dd
Examples for the naming convention are as follows:
192.168.226.4_Ace101_Interface#2.0.30_vc-atm-layer_1999-09-14
192.168.226.4_Ace101_Interface#2.0.53_vp-atm-layer_1999-09-14
192.168.226.4_Ace101_Interface#2050_physical-layer_1999-09-14
Exiting NMS Station
The statistics collection continues even if the user exits the NMS station. When the
station reboots the statistics collection is activated automatically. The collection will
be made from the selected agents.
