3. Select agents from the Remaining Agents list and transfer them to the
Selected Agents list using the right-pointing arrow.
4. Unselect agents from the Selected Agents list and transfer them to the
Remaining Agents list using the left-pointing arrow.
To select all agents from a list, click the All button. To select agents one by one,
click the Selection button.
5. Click OK.
6. Click the check box of the product for which statistics will be gathered and
stored. The statistics are gathered for the selected type only.
7. Press Set to activate the statistics gathering.
8. In the Storage Period field, set the number of days the application will store
the statistic files.
Since every hour, many statistic files are being generated; it is possible for the
hard disk to reach full capacity. In order to prevent this from happening, the
Storage Period field enables the user to set the number of days that the
application stores the statistic files, after which they are deleted. The deletion
is performed according to the file’s date and not the file’s name.

Normal Operation
The Statistical Information Collecting Application sets a timer that expires on the
hour. On the hour, every hour, the relevant nodes (of the type that you requested)
are queried for the last four intervals for the variables that were requested.
In order to mark the end of the collection stage an empty file is created under
"/opt/MNG/MNGVIEWHP/WAN/StatCollect" and called AC1StatFinished this file is
removed at the beginning of the next collection stage.
