12. In the Channel Assignment Path-end A, select the total timeslots and the
assignment of the timeslots.
13. In the Channel Assignment Path-end B, select the total timeslots and the
assignment of the timeslots.
The number of timeslots selected must be identical in both Path-end A and Path-end B.
14. Click <Save> to save the changes.
The parameters are saved in the 5620 database.
15. Click <Connect> to set the connection and to download the configuration to
Agent.
If successful, a path is created.
• The lower the value of ‘Number of Data Octets’ is, the higher is the consumed
BW.
• If the Nodes are managed by another NMS, then before starting the path
creation process it is recommended to Perform ‘Rediscover’ or ‘Reconcile’ in
order to make sure that the TS status in your NMS is correct.
